College/University, Make A Good Choice - Basic Education

A very important question that you should start thinking about in high school is ?Should I go to college/university?? It is completely up to you! You can achieve success whether you go to a post secondary institute or not.

You are most likely to make much more money if you go to school then someone who doesn?t. However, some degrees can be completely useless. If you decide to go to college choose a career in which you will enjoy, and that will have jobs available. Don?t go into something just for the money, or because your parents want you to. There are many careers you can choose at post secondary school . Some are in health care, engineering, trades, business, sciences etc. The possibilities are endless! However, post secondary education is very expensive. If you are living alone you will most likely have to live with debt while in school.

You can also achieve success without going to a post secondary institute. The best way to do this is to start working at a company when you are young, and try to work your way up. However, this can be very difficult. You can also look into making money online, but this can be dangerous as there are many scams. Working at an oilfield site such as the one in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada can be very profitable. Many who have no education have made close to 100 000$ a year. Although the hours can be very long. Some shift can be up to 16 hours.

Try to make your decisions as early as you can. It will help if you research careers, and institutes. Look around at the job spots available in your area. The most important thing is to work hard, and believe in yourself.
