My Memories Scrapbooking Software- Review | The Family That ...

Now my friends all know that I always have good intentions.? I am an idea person when it comes to crafts and creativity, and a good one if I can pat myself on the back for just a moment.? The problem for me lies in the implementation of the art/craft and the level of patience I have with this stuff that often takes much longer than I ?idea person? think it will take.

I started Tommy?s baby book on maternity leave with the very best of intentions and? I even accomplished to scrapbook a few pages very well? the rest well on a weekend away with friends to scrapbook I CONFESSION TIME HERE: Speed Scrapbooked my way through the book.? Honestly, I wanted to go on a walk by the lake more than I wanted to cut, paste and create.? Since then not much scrap booking has been done in this busy house.? Although, I do take lots of pictures and I have made? photo books using on-line sites.

I had a chance to review My Memories Software which makes it even easier to get a project accomplished? and that is always good in my opinion.? I downloaded the program and saved it to my desktop, it took about 10 minutes.? The program is very similar to the on-line sites and very intuitive- all the task you want like adding a new page, changing the text, colors and creative additions (like snowflakes and stars) are right there on the left hand side of the screen and the top of the screen.? AND no cutting or paper cuts, you just click a button.? I also like that I can print out the pages at home and be done, Wa- La no waiting for the photo book to arrive in the mail or having to pick it up at the store. A major perk for procrastinators who want to create a creative gift!

Here are some pictures of my project that I made for my husband for Valentine?s Day.? I used pictures from our Christmas and New Year?s Trip to California to visit family.? I used regular computer paper, but for my next project I am going to purchase more sturdy photo paper? really you can do anything you want since you are printing it out at home!

I am very happy with my photo book that I created last night.? The whole process took me. at the most three hours- and that includes the time it took to familiarize myself with the My Memories, since it was my first time using the software.
